Matt graduated from Charles Sturt University in Albury with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, where he developed a keen interest in private practice physiotherapy. Between the 3rd and 4th year of his studies, Matt took a year off to work as a personal trainer in Melbourne, and attributes a lot of his professional development to the technical and personal skills he learned during this time.
Matt has a special interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation by way of implementing individualised and progressive rehabilitation and exercise programs for the active and general population alike, and uses this approach to supplement hands on and manual therapy.
Having played and competed in a lot of different sports growing up, from triathlon and road cycling, to Aussie Rules footy and weightlifting, Matt has been through the injury rehabilitation pathway before. He is motivated to go above and beyond to minimise the time out from injury, and to achieve the best possible result for his clients.
